To know a language it isn’t enough to master the grammar and the vocabulary. Words are a kind of container keeping something more important inside. The spirit of every nation is revealed through songs, fairy-tales and movies.

One can have the sound vocabulary and excellent grammar… but without contact with history and everyday life details the language stays as a plastic toy. Only immersion into joys and sorrows, passions and adventures lets us to feel alive language. The overcoming of all kind of difficulties during the process of learning can be less agonizing if you use some movies. The captivating plot makes you forget about time. Try just to find such films which catch your attention.

To save your precious time I’ll give you only a piece of advice. Start from watching a part of the movie, then read the text in this book and thereupon return to watching the same part. The more time you spend on one movie the better result you have. Every next one will seem to you easier and easier.
